Article 52

A popular saying in our day is this, "that's the bottom line." It means, "after sripping away the veneer, this is the gist or essence of the matter." The bottom line or essence of the power of predestinating purpose is this: God is really God and His word and power can do anything. To have faith in God is to believe this to be true. A major problem throughout the history of Christianity has been the tendency of believers to question this eternal truth. Even the disciples of Christ had to be rebuked and reprimanded for their doubts and little faith.
